Training Levels
At International Dance Academy, we offer a clear pathway for dancers to grow, build confidence, and progress at a pace that fits their goals and experience level. Our program is structured into three levels:
Recreational Classes
These classes are designed for beginner and intermediate dancers who want to develop a strong foundation in technique while enjoying a fun and supportive environment. Dancers build skills in various styles, improve coordination, and gain confidence without a high time commitment.
Performance Collective (Prep Team)
Our Performance Collective serves as a bridge between recreational classes and the competitive team. This program is ideal for dancers with at least one-two years of dance experience who are ready for the next step. With a moderate time and financial commitment, dancers begin to experience performing in a more structured setting. They learn choreography, stage presence, and teamwork while participating in several performances throughout the season. This level helps prepare dancers for a smooth transition into the All-Star Team.
Commitment includes 2 community performances, 2 studio recitals, 2 local competitions for Tiny Prep or 3 local competitions for Mini and Youth Prep Team.
Prep Teams:
Tiny Prep Team- 2020, 2021, 2022 birth years
